Advantages of Our Galvanized Steel sheet
Superior Sacrificial Protection and Self-Healing Capability
The core advantage of galvanized steel sheets lies in the perfect combination of physical shielding and electrochemical protection. Even when the substrate is exposed due to processing, cutting, or slight scratches, the zinc coating will oxidize first through sacrificial anodic protection, creating a “self-healing” effect that prevents rust from spreading inward and ensures long-term structural integrity.
Highly Competitive Life-Cycle Cost
Compared to ordinary steel sheets that require frequent painting and maintenance, hot-dipped galvanized sheets (GI) offer a highly competitive initial cost with almost no maintenance required later. The thick zinc coating provides a maintenance-free service life of 20 to 50 years, significantly reducing the total operational cost over the entire life cycle of construction and industrial projects, making it a cost-effective anti-corrosion solution.
Powerful Processing Flexibility and Coating Compatibility
Our galvanized sheets not only offer excellent hardness but also maintain superior formability. The zinc coating adheres extremely well, supporting bending, rolling, and deep-drawing without flaking. Furthermore, the passivated surface (especially zero spangle) provides outstanding paint adhesion, making it an ideal substrate for powder coating or painting processes.

FAQs
How should I choose the right zinc coating weight (e.g., Z60 or Z275) based on the environment?
The zinc coating weight directly determines the anti-corrosion lifespan. For dry indoor environments, Z60-Z80 is sufficient; however, for outdoor construction or humid conditions, we strongly recommend Z140 or higher, such as Z275, to ensure a longer maintenance-free service life in harsh climates.
If I find white powder (white rust) on the surface upon delivery, will it affect the quality? How can I prevent it?
Slight white rust generally does not affect structural strength but impacts aesthetics. To prevent this, our sheets undergo passivation or oiling treatments. We recommend storing the cargo in a dry, ventilated area and avoiding exposure to moisture or rain during stacking.
Is there a performance difference between regular, small, and zero spangles?
Their corrosion resistance is essentially the same. Regular spangles are mostly used for traditional roofing and architectural exteriors; while zero spangle offers a smoother surface, making it the best choice if you plan on powder coating or painting, as it provides superior adhesion.
Will the zinc coating flake or crack during deep stamping or 180-degree bending?
As long as the appropriate grade is selected (such as deep-drawing quality DX53D or DX54D), our hot-dip process ensures a tight bond between the zinc and the substrate. Within standard processing limits, the zinc coating possesses excellent ductility and will not flake or crack.
Can you provide a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) including detailed zinc coating test reports?
Yes. Every batch is accompanied by an EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate (MTC), which clearly records the tensile strength, yield strength, and most importantly, the actual zinc coating mass, ensuring the product fully complies with international standards.
